Student Research

Many excellent summer or year-long opportunities are available for students who are interested in pursuing research. ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· College of Medicine and Life Sciences provides many excellent research opportunities in various medical and basic science fields through the Medical Student Summer Research Program for first-year students:

Medical Student Summer Research Program

ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú´«Ã½ÎÄ»¯×÷Æ· Medical Student Summer Research Program provides a mentored, funded 10-week research experience for M1 medical students. Interested students may identify a faculty research mentor or select an approved project through the Office of Student Affairs at the beginning of each year. The proposed research can be basic science, clinical, or a combination. Medical education projects which include a hypothesis and research plan are also eligible. A stipend for a 10-week period is paid to the student through Federal Work Study.
